Satoshi Yokotais the Senior Vice-President of Engineering and Development . With its head office in São José dos Campos, Brazil, besides offices, subsidiary companies and customer assistance services in China, Singapore, the United States, France and Portugal, Embraer is a company with 37 years’ experience in aircraft design, production, sale and support for the global markets of Commercial and Defence aviation as well as the Executive segment. Founded in 1969 as a State held company, Embraer was privatised in 1994. A world leader in the manufacture of commercial jets seating up to 110 passengers, the company has already produced around 3,900 aeroplanes, which today operate in 65 countries, on 5 continents. Embraer was the largest Brazilian exporter between 1999 and 2001, and was the second largest exporter in 2002, 2003 and 2004. In 2005 the company had 18,336 employees throughout the world, a net turnover of 9.1 billion Reals and its portfolio of durable orders amounted to US$ 13.3 billion.
